Portuñol
According to research, despite its immense tourist potential, Brazil hasn't been considered a top destination for South American travelers. What is the main reason for that? The language barrier: Brazilians speak Portuguese whereas most of South Americans speak Spanish. Inspired by Brazil’s genuine ability to embrace other cultures, VisitBrasil made a bold move: it recognized Portuñol as the official summer language.
The movement activated and engaged the targeted audience by means of PR, digital, direct and social media channels, using a 60" film; a short web series; a collaborative dictionary and four South American travel vlogs of influencers visiting Brazil.
